Can Google and AI assistants find your website?

Type your site's address. The check reads the page the way a search crawler does and tells you whether Google, Bing, ChatGPT search, Claude search and Perplexity are allowed in, and whether the page gives them what they need to list it well.

Free, with no sign-up. The address is not kept.

What it checks

What a crawler needs from the page

Before a page can rank, search engines and AI assistants have to be allowed to read it, and able to tell what the business is. These checks cover both.

  • Allowed in search results

Whether the page asks to be left out of results (noindex), on the page itself or in a header.

  • Crawlers let in

Whether robots.txt lets Google, Bing, ChatGPT search, Claude search and Perplexity read the page, by the name each company documents for its crawler.

  • Structured data

Whether the page says what the business is, where it is and when it is open in the form search engines and AI assistants read without guessing.

  • Sitemap, main address and llms.txt

Whether a sitemap lists the site's pages, whether the page names its one main address, and whether there is a plain-text summary for AI tools.

What it cannot see

Firewalls, indexing and rankings

The check tells you whether crawlers are allowed in and what they find when they arrive. It cannot see a firewall or bot protection that turns them away at the door, whether Google has actually indexed the page, where it ranks, or your Google Business Profile. Search Console shows the first two for your own site.

The title and description Google shows under a result are in the Basics section of the full site check, along with speed, safety and email, with every problem in one list.
