Does your Google listing match your site?
Type your site's address. The check finds your business on Google Maps from the site, then puts the listing next to the site: opening hours day by day, phone number, street address and website link. Customers often see your listing before your site, and they believe whichever one they read.

What it checks
Two places customers look for you
Google keeps its own copy of your hours, phone number and address, and many customers read it before they open your site. When the two disagree, people arrive when you are closed or call a number nobody answers. Google can also publish a change someone suggests to your listing if you do not answer within 4 days and other public information, such as your website, supports it, so a site with old details can make the listing wrong too.
-
Opening hours
Day by day, the hours your page shows and the hours in its structured data, each against the listing. A difference counts only when the page's hours could be read for sure; otherwise the report puts both side by side and says so.
-
Phone and address
Whether the number on the listing appears on your site, and whether the site gives the same street address.
-
The website link
Whether the listing links to this site, or to another one, such as an old address.
-
Open or closed
Whether the listing shows the business as open. A listing marked closed by mistake turns customers away before they reach you.
What it cannot see
What only your account shows
The check reads your listing as anyone can see it, through Google's place data, not through your Business Profile account. It cannot see edits waiting for review, holiday hours set ahead, or reviews. It reads your pages as text, so hours shown only in a picture or drawn by a script are missed, and the report says so rather than guessing. When it cannot tell which listing is yours, it shows the ones it found and lets you pick.
Google's details are shown while you look at the report and are not kept. The Google listing is one section of the full site check, which runs them all at once with every problem in one list.
